I. William Goldfarb, MD

I. WILLIAM GOLDFARB, M.D.

PRESIDENT

Dr. Goldfarb is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and the Chicago Medical School. Following the completion of a surgical residency at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital, he served as a Special Fellow in Burn Trauma at the U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Goldfarb is a board certified general surgeon and has been elected to fellowship in both the College of General Surgeons and the College of Critical Care Medicine. He has been a major contributor to surgical literature and is a frequent speaker at both the national and international level. Dr. Goldfarb is a founding partner of IMC and currently serves as the company's President and CEO. In that capacity, he has been a program innovator in the development of loss control approaches utilized by employers and carriers in the resolution of disability and work-related issues that impact upon worker productivity. His expertise in this arena has been recognized by a number of regulatory authorities who have solicited his assistance in the review and modification of existing governmental programs on a local, regional and statewide basis.

Andrea M. Carabello, MD, MPH

ANDREA M. CARABELLO, M.D., M.P.H.

MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Carabello is a graduate of Albright College and received her medical degree from the Catholic University of Lille in France. After completing four years of general surgery training in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, she went on to complete a residency in Occupational Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, earning the requisite Masters in Public Health at the University's Graduate School of Public Health. Dr. Carabello is board certified in Occupational Medicine and is also a Medical Review Officer. Prior to joining IMC's physician cadre she gained a tremendous amount of practical experience in the delivery of occupational medicine services by virtue of her tenure as a Medical Director at a major steel company. In that capacity she was responsible for the day-to-day dispensary management of employees who had sustained work-related injuries, were on disability or who required basic medical care or examination for OSHA compliance purposes. She continues those responsibilities on a part-time basis today for a local steel company. Dr. Carabello's responsibilities include overall clinical management of IMC services as well as overall management of all IMC physician operational activities.

David S. Parker, DO

DAVID S. PARKER, D.O.

MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Parker is a graduate of Washington and Jefferson College and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Parker completed his specialty training in orthopedic surgery in Philadelphia and New Jersey then went on to enter a private practice with a subspecialty in the management of shoulder pathology. Following tenure as a Clinical Instructor of Orthopedics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey he relocated to Erie, Pennsylvania. In Erie, he held multiple administrative positions including tenure as Associate Clinical Professor, Orthopedic Residency Trainer and Residency Program Director at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Parker is a board certified member of the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and a Diplomat of the National Board of Examiners of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. In his capacity as a Medical Director at IMC, Dr. Parker is actively involved in the development of the musculoskeletal and orthopedic protocols currently utilized for day-to-day case management. Dr. Parker also assumes responsibility for many of IMC's educational and outreach programs that are designed to support and enhance IMC's overall business development.
